Language learning for children

For project mimo, my group and me were assigned to design a subscription-based product and
start-up where we had to relief a problem. I focused on the design of the product, creating the
app and managing the group, which led to us winning the project fair by the decision of 3 external
investors.
DESIGN PROCESS
By putting a card into the device, a limited amount of words is taught to the person interacting with mimo. It will show a picture of the word on the screen, helping the person to learn visually as well. The person then says the word out loud. An integrated machine learning software reflects whether the pronunciation of this word was good or not.
App and Website
During PROJECT MIMO I designed an application which was necessary to add parental
control to the product. It contained multiple functions (mentioned the video). The app was created with Adobe XD,
which I familiarized myself with throughout the project.
